CommutAir, a United Express Carrier, Names New Director of Training

North Olmsted, OH (January 28, 2020) CommutAir, a United Express regional carrier, today announced the appointment of John Nyaradi to the role of Director of Training, effective January 31.

“John brings a wealth of experience to our CommutAir family,” said David Fitzgerald, CommutAir’s Vice President of Flight Operations. “John’s long career and established leadership will continue to help shape CommutAir’s training programs and professional pilot development, ensuring the latest generation theory and standards are employed throughout our professional pilot training programs.

Nyaradi served in the US Air Force before joining United Airlines as a pilot and later serving as a Line Check Airman. Since retiring from United in 2015, he has held key roles as VP of Flight Standards & Training and Director of Operations at XOJET. Most recently he was employed by a Part 121 startup, helping them develop their 121 certification.
