Every flight attendant receives a minimum of 11 days off on reserve and 12 days off as a line-holder per month in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Our Preferential Bidding System (PBS) allows crew members to customize their schedules as line-holders.
Bidding is the seniority-based process that flight crews use to select their monthly schedules. Our planning teams work with crews to optimize schedules based on operational needs and employee aspirations. We asked Colin McDevitt, who helps organize the scheduling process, about bidding for flight attendant jobs.
